Every pilot includes - what a subscription alone never will

These are the 8 reasons serious teams choose a pilot before subscribing

Pre-agreed Success Criteria

Use case, frame scope, performance metrics, and decision trigger defined and agreed before Day 1.

Dataset Health Check

JTheta reviews your uploaded LiDAR data before annotation begins — flagging density issues, missing frames, and format gaps.

Custom Label Schema Setup

Your team's label taxonomy configured by JTheta based on your use case — AV, warehouse, robotics — on Day 1.

Dedicated Slack Channel

Direct access to the JTheta team throughout your 30-day pilot for support, feedback, and real-time issue resolution.

Annotation Speed Benchmark Report

A formal before/after report showing annotation speed improvement, frames per hour, and QA accuracy vs. your previous tool.

Pilot Success Certificate

A 30-day summary document: use case tested, results achieved, recommended subscription tier. Ready to present to your leadership.

Priority Feature Request Review

Your feature requests are reviewed during the pilot period and responded to with a roadmap position — not a generic backlog promise.

Full Multi-Format Export Testing

Test KITTI, nuScenes, Waymo Open, PCDet JSON, and Custom JSON during the pilot with guidance on the best fit for your pipeline.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything your team needs to make the decision.

A subscription gives you platform access. A pilot gives you dedicated onboarding, a dataset health check, custom label schema setup, weekly check-ins, and a formal performance report — so you know exactly what you’re getting before committing. Every pilot also includes a subscription credit ($400 for Pilot A, $1,000 for Pilot B) — applied automatically when you subscribe to any plan.

Pilot fees are non-refundable. However every pilot includes a subscription credit — $400 for Pilot A, $1,000 for Pilot B, and negotiated terms for Pilot C — applied automatically when you subscribe to any plan.

The 30-day boundary is intentional — it keeps the evaluation structured and drives a clear decision. If you need more time post-pilot, we move directly into a commercial subscription conversation.

You receive a Pilot Success Certificate summarizing your use case, results, and recommended subscription tier — ready to present to your leadership. We then initiate a commercial discussion around Day 26–30.

Custom pilots (Pilot C) are for enterprise use cases — large datasets, AV companies, funded robotics labs, or non-standard pricing/limits. Contact us after your demo to discuss.

The standard pilot contract is lean and fast. Optional clauses for NDA, HIPAA (medical robotics), on-prem deployment, and custom export IP can be added to Pilot B and Pilot C on request.
